Envelope cash system made pretty!

Over at Kelleigh Ratzlaff Designs, Kelleigh got a new wallet and wanted to make pretty envelopes for it so she could follow Dave Ramsey's cash envelopes system. She even posted a free template to work from! It was such a great idea, Nikki and I actually made them today! Neither Nikki or I have a wallet we could put the envelopes into, so we altered the idea a little. We created our envelopes, but then made outside sections to go around it, making its own wallet and enclosure. We laminated the outside pieces, and added velcro for closure (not added at time of picture). I used a blanket stitch to bind all the pieces together. I still need to work on my budget and catagories. Once I do that, I will add some pretty labels to each envelope so I can begin using this! I'm excited, it's so pretty! However, it did take a rather long time to make, but I think that's because we couldn't decide on our paper and then our babies didn't want to let us work. Oh well, it was a great afternoon hanging out! Thanks for looking, I hope you like!
