So we all went to the mall yesterday (yes, on a Saturday before Christmas, and yes, we are crazy) to get Kahlan's picture with Santa taken. It was a little busy, I would say we waited about 20 minutes but they were moving things along quite well. She didn't really know what to think of all the commotion, as you can tell by the look on her face in the picture. =)
We also went in to Build-A-Bear Workshop to get Kahlan her bear. We selected the classic bear in allergen friendly and had him stuffed. Kahlan kissed the heart that was placed inside him before he was sewn up and brought to life. We then picked out the Sailor dress uniform and dressed her new bear. We then got to fill out information on the computer, giving out address (they can return the bear to you if it gets lost and brought back to a Build-A-Bear store!) and naming her new bear. So Kahlan's new friend is Brophy, and she's already attached to him! By the time we were done all she wanted to do was cuddle with him in her stroller and fall asleep. And so she did.
We all had a good time and made some great Christmas memories.
